Palmer House Brownie Day
Come and celebrate brownie day in the place it was invented! In 1893 Bertha Palmer asked the pastry chef Joseph Sehl for a dessert suitable for ladies attending the Chicago World’s Columbian Exposition. She requested a cake – like confection smaller than a piece of cake that could be included in boxed lunches and the first brownie was made. To celebrate the Palmer House is offering the following brownie day options:

December 8th is National Brownie Day and to celebrate we are offering a Holiday Brownie Decorating Class perfect for your little bakers. Expect decorating mush haves, chef hats, an official brownie decorator certificate, and a bake at home Palmer House original brownie kit.

Brownie Shake Celebration
Potter’s Chicago Burger Bar will be featuring their Brownie Milkshake made with chocolate ice cream, brownie pieces, and milk for $5.
