Wicker Park Fest 2018

As one of Chicago’s most anticipated summer festivals, and dubbed “Chicago’s Best Street Festival of the Summer ” by the Chicago Tribune, Wicker Park Fest is one of Chicago’s top-drawing festivals, attracting visitors from across Chicagoland and the country with its fantastic music line-up.

Wicker Park Fest reflects the neighborhood’s rich musical heritage, vibrant nightlife and acclaimed restaurants. Building on the area’s unique character, the weekend celebrates the neighborhood with eclectic music (over 50 bands on four stages), great local food, arts and crafts, a kids’ area, and retail vendors.

Wicker Park Fest is proud to offer a dedicated Arts Area to showcase unique and inspired works from some of the most talented local artists and arts organizations. Located in the heart of the festival footprint, the WPF Arts Area features visually-compelling performance and installation artworks.

Wicker Park Festival Fashion Show:

LIVE Fashion Shows are now part of the party! Produced in conjunction with Fashion Planet TV, Wicker Park Fest will now offer evening fashion shows from 6:30pm-9:00pm on the Fashion Show Stage, located at Milwaukee & Wolcott, after the incredible success of the Saturday night pilot show in 2017. Featured designers TBA.

Wicker Park Festival Kids Fest:

Wicker Park is one of the most family-friendly neighborhoods in Chicago. So it’s no surprise that the neighborhood event of the year, Wicker Park Fest, is also home to one of the summer’s top kids fests within a fest. Wicker Park Fest Kids offers a wide variety of children’s programming from noon to 6 pm both days. Proceeds from Kids Fest activities will benefit Jonathan Burr Elementary (specifically to improve the technology and programming) and is sponsored by the WPB SSA #33.

The Tom Neubauer Stage (Center Stage) at Wicker Park Fest highlights some of the unique cultures found in our community through an engaging and entertaining performances.
