The Robey – Garden of Eden Valentine’s Pop Up
Give in to temptation and taste the forbidden fruit as we transform the Hall at the Robey into the Garden of Eden. The notion of the “lost garden of paradise” is such a big part of our culture that references to it can be found all over the place, from famous old paintings to modern songs. While the Garden of Eden we’re most familiar with has its origins in the Biblical Book of Genesis, similar concepts exist in the mythology of the ancient Greeks, Persians, Hebrews and even Islam. The art will consist of site-specific installations, we’re focusing on creating a fun, arboreal respite from the cold winter in Chicago. So you can expect flowers, plants, sculptures and musical surprises.
Adenium is a group of artists, dreamers and doers with a vision to enhance experiences incorporating art, music and performances. Join us for an art-focused, interactive pop up.
