The Great Chicago Fire Murals at The Standard Club of Chicago

Please join us Thursday, March 29th for a rare opportunity to see The Great Chicago Fire, an exquisite example of Edgar Miller’s large scale mural work!

Thanks to the generous hospitality of The Standard Club, Edgar Miller Legacy has been welcomed back for the second year to visit the club’s private lounge, a mid-century modern bar featuring four incredibly detailed, twelve-foot wide murals depicting the Great Chicago Fire, beautifully hand carved by Miller in black linoleum.

Wine, beer and heavy appetizers will be served, with a brief talk discussing Miller’s work at 6:15 led by our honored guest, Tim Samuelson, the City of Chicago’s Cultural Historian. A silent auction will also be held highlighting unique Edgar Miller-inspired art and activities.

The Standard Club opens its doors to Edgar Miller Legacy for this event only once a year. Space is limited, so please reserve your spot as soon as possible. All proceeds from the event will benefit Edgar Miller Legacy.

Limited number of early bird tickets available now until March 2nd!

Date: 5:30-7:30, March 29, 2018
