Chicago’s premier piano bar and only cigar bar. Perfectly mixed crowd ranging from 20 somethings to 80 somethings. Mostly upscale, business crowd. Can be really busy on weekends and during conventions. Live music every night with no cover charge make this a very popular tourist spot. Small, dimly lit and perfect for dates, or just hanging out with friends. Getting there early is a good idea if you want to sit in front of the piano. They also have a reservation system for tables. The reservations are $40 per person and go towards drinks. An excellent choice if you want to be able to sit down without waiting for a seat. The wait for a seat can be very long. The dress code is business casual but has been relaxed a bit. The Redhead also features a covered outside patio from smoking and it is heated during the winter. They also have a large selection of cigars for sale on the premises in a newly built walk in humidor. In addition to the walk in humidor they also have a cigar member program. The cigar member program offers lockers, access to the walk in humidor, invite only cigar and spirit tastings, year round smoking lounge and more.
