Rebel and Rye, opening soon, to feature 500+ craft whiskies.

Rebel and Rye, a whiskey bar inspired by the whiskey rebellion, will be opening their doors January 24 at 8pm with a menu of 500+ whiskies and bottles from craft distillers in more than 28 states. Rebel and Rye boasts whiskies for every palate and budget.

“We really wanted to rebel against the pretentiousness associated with craft cocktails,” says Alex Zupancic, owner of Rebel & Rye. “Whiskey is one of the most universal spirits. We want everyone to feel comfortable while they enjoy an elevated cocktail experience.”

Rebel and Rye is offering more than just your average pour of whiskey. Patrons can expect:

• A whiskey membership featuring personal bottles and engraved glassware
• A New Americana atmosphere welcome to sneakers and suits alike
• 500+ whiskies from craft distillers all over the U.S.
• A rotating craft menu featuring renditions on classic shaken, stirred and highball cocktails

Also launching on Thursday, March 12, Rebel & Rye—the newly opened whiskey bar in River West—will be offering a monthly promotional series. Every 12th of the month, the whiskey rebellion-inspired bar will feature 2 oz. pours and a rotating signature cocktail of a select, 12 year old American whisky from a budding and craft distillery for 12% off. With a menu featuring more than 500 whiskies from craft distillers all over the U.S., Rebel & Rye’s 12/12/12 event allows guests to expand their palates and familiarize themselves with emerging brands.
