Margeaux Brasserie's Bastille Day Celebration

Chef Michael Mina’s Margeaux Brasserie and Waldorf Astoria Chicago invite you to join the Bastille Day festivities at the second annual Bastille Day Courtyard Celebration.

Taking place outside on the hotel’s stunning 6,000-square-foot Parisian courtyard, the afternoon fête will feature a live band, French-inspired fare and premium beverages aplenty. Guests will enjoy interactive tasting stations led by award-winning Chef Michael Mina and Executive Chef Greg Biggers featuring Boudin Blanc Baguettes, Bouillabaisse Brochettes, Ham and Gruyere Croissants, Nicoise Salad, and much more. The afternoon will also feature surprise and delight moments like a mobile wine bike, a Kegway with exclusively brewed Moody Tongue Margeaux Bastille Day Beer and Saber Olympics, hosted by Henriot, where the top Chicagoland sommeliers will put their Champagne sabering talents to the test.

Margeaux Brasserie has invited four of Chicago’s favorite chefs to join the fun! Thai Dang (HaiSous), Leigh Omilinsky (Bellemore, Swift & Sons, Cold Storage), Todd Stein (The Bristol) and Joe Frillman (Daisies) will be in attendance, pouring their creative takes on classic French cocktails all afternoon.

An occasion for all ages, Bastille Day festivities will also include a balloon artist, face painter, cotton candy machine and ice cream station for families and little ones to enjoy.
