Very sad to say that The Bar is closed as of July 28, 2018! Chicago lost a true classic lobby bar.
The standard by which all upscale hotel lobby bars should be judged. The Bar is the perfect spot for a date night or a business meeting. The service is impeccable and the drinks are top notch. Luxurious, classy and extremely cozy feeling bar complete with fireplace. Amazing ambience, dimly lit with a lot of leather. The crowd is always a perfectly mixed and very well dressed group. I really like the fact that even when The Bar is packed on a Saturday night it always feels warm and relaxing. The drink menu is very extensive and the complimentary snacks are some of the best I have had. I really can’t recommend The Bar enough. A must visit for any occasion and is sure to leave a lasting impression.
